WINE TOURISM & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (M/F)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
BRINGING THE WINE TOURISM ACTIVITY TO LIFE, GROWING IT, AND INCREASING ITS REACH
Strategy, business development, operational management: this position covers the entire wine tourism and receptive activity of the château, in direct link with the Management.
Your objective: build upon existing successes and accelerate the development of the estate's wine tourism activities.
Your role is structured around 5 main pillars:
- Develop activity & turnover
- Develop wine tourism and BtoC sales, both on-site and via delivery.
- Consolidate offers and experiences and evolve them in light of opportunities.
- Strengthen partnerships (hotels, receptive agencies, tourist offices, booking platforms) as well as corporate clientele for seminars and events.
- Strengthen customer relations and loyalty
- Bring the visitor database to life and extend the experience long after the visit.
- Monitor online reputation and customer reviews.
- Contribute to the visibility of the offer, in connection with the person dedicated to social media, as well as during trade fairs and professional meetings.
- Manage the wine tourism activity
- Orchestrate reservations, visits, tastings, meals, events, and receptive services, as well as the accommodation offered at a second property in Saint-Émilion.
- Ensure follow-up of stocks, orders, shipments, cash desk and online shop, as well as quotes, budgets, and margins.
- Guarantee the quality of reception areas and coordinate technical interventions with service providers.
- Manage & organize
- Supervise, recruit, train, and develop the team dedicated to wine tourism.
- Unify the team around the values of the château, receptive quality, and the typicality of the cuvées to transform an experience into a purchase act.
- Measure, optimize & evolve
- Monitor key activity indicators to adjust actions with reactivity.
- Identify performance levers and market opportunities.
- Maintain active monitoring and propose new development paths to the Management.

REQUIRED PROFILE:
To participate in this great adventure, the team wishes to welcome a passionate individual who combines mastery of hospitality, wine culture, and a taste for development.
Wine tourism expertise
- Proven experience in wine tourism, tourism, hotels, hospitality, or events, with real mastery of reception, receptive services, and customer relations.
- Successful experience in team management: recruitment, training, animation, and sales coaching.
Wine culture
- Solid wine and tasting culture, ideally acquired in a wine estate and nourished by true curiosity.
- Ease in conveying the history of an estate with accuracy and conviction to diverse audiences.
Commercial sense
- A taste for business development and partnerships, a sense of initiative, and a curious eye on wine tourism trends.
Tools
- Mastery of digital and office tools: Isagri, GDO, Brevo, Pack Office, and booking platforms.
Languages: you speak at least two foreign languages fluently.
- English C1/C2 indispensable.
- Fluent Spanish indispensable, given the clientele welcomed.
- German appreciated, notably to maintain and develop existing flows.
Autonomous, organized, dynamic, and proactive, you like to find solutions, move things forward, and transform ideas into concrete actions.
CONDITIONS
- CDI - Executive status - Palier 10
- 39 hours per week
- Remuneration: 50 to 55 K€ gross annual
- Bonus based on objectives, which can represent the equivalent of a 13th month
- Position based in the heart of the Saint-Émilion appellation (33), with occasional interventions at a second property in Saint-Émilion.
- Activity paced by the season, with Saturdays worked on a rotation basis from April to October.
- Occasional business travel
- Desired start date in December 2026 or January 2027, with an organized handover before the end of January 2027.
RECRUITMENT PROCESS
- An initial telephone exchange.
- A video interview, preceded by a personality test and a language test.
- An on-site meeting with the current manager, followed by a "rapport d'étonnement" (initial observation report).
- A final interview with the Management.
