Senior Shift Leader (m/f/d) – Full-Time, Permanent Position

Are you a hands-on leader with sound experience in production and series production? We are looking for a Senior Shift Leader (m/f/d) who is responsible for the smooth running of daily production activities, manages team performance, and actively solves problems at the plant level. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring productivity, quality, and teamwork during shift operations.

As a Senior Shift Leader, you will coordinate shift operations, take over team allocation, and ensure effective communication with both employees and plant management. You will actively identify problems, implement solutions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Hands-on management of shift operations in series production
• Resource planning and team allocation (responsibility for 3–5 machine operators per shift)
• Supporting the Plant Manager in the implementation of production targets
• Identification and resolution of technical and organizational problems during the shift
• Carrying out minor machine malfunctions and supporting troubleshooting
• Compliance with safety, quality, and work instructions
• Clear communication between shift employees, technology, and management levels
• Promoting a positive team climate and performance management within the shift team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in technical/industrial production (manufacturing, series production)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a practical way of working
• Experience in employee leadership and shift coordination
• English skills in speaking and writing are mandatory
• Ability to proactively identify problems and implement practical solutions
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (communication with employees and plant management)
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance or troubleshooting is an advantage
