Reporting to the Team Director, the experienced Manager / Senior Manager acts as a partner to operational teams throughout the entire life cycle of non-regulated engagements. They are responsible for managing client engagement risks and contribute to securing business development. You will join the Non-Regulated Business Risks team, which assists operational teams throughout the life of engagements with Forvis Mazars clients and partners. In connection with the team director, you will primarily perform the following tasks: Risk Assessment (qualification of opportunities) Analyze commercial opportunities submitted by operational teams Identify key risks: Client (reputation, integrity, etc.) Engagement (technical complexity, independence, conflicts of interest) Contractual (liability, scope, financial conditions)
Challenge operational teams on the relevance of the opportunity and the level of risk accepted Propose appropriate risk mitigation measures Support from the opportunity stage Support teams in structuring offers, defining scope and deliverables, and integrating risk requirements into proposals Participate in acceptance committees Raise awareness among teams regarding risk issues Risk rating and validation Support teams in assessing the risks of their engagements Determine the overall risk level Ensure that appropriate validations are obtained Formalize the decision and associated documentation. Guarantee their traceability Monitoring risk during the engagement Ensure risk monitoring throughout the engagement Identify weak signals (scope creep, client tensions, legal or reputational risks, etc.) Challenge teams on corrective actions Update the risk level if necessary Participate in key meetings if risk is high Post-engagement monitoring Conduct ex-post reviews of incidents / difficulties encountered, and deviations vs. initial expectations Capitalize on lessons learned Identify areas for process, contractual, and practical improvement Contribute to the continuous improvement of the risk framework Litigation monitoring and annual portfolio review
You hold a Master's degree (Bac+5) from a business school or a university. You have a successful first experience of at least 7 years acquired in an audit, TS, or consulting firm, or within a risk function of a group. You wish to put your pragmatism, your understanding of business issues and associated risks, your rigor, and your organization at the service of a challenging profession. Your excellent writing skills are proven. You possess analytical and synthesis skills, intellectual curiosity, great reactivity, you enjoy working in a team, and you are comfortable conducting high-level discussions and negotiations (client, partner, etc.). Your English level is fluent (both oral and written) as your contacts are most often in English.
