The Transaction Services department of Forvis Mazars supports clients (large groups, mid-caps, SMEs, business owners, startups, corporate or financial investors, etc.) in their acquisition, disposal, or reorganization projects, by providing them with technical excellence and agile pragmatism. As a major player in audit and advisory in the Banking and Financial Services sector, both in France and internationally, Forvis Mazars provides complete and multidisciplinary solutions adapted to all professions. Our Financial Advisory entity dedicated to the Banking and Financial Services sector supports the largest Banks and the entire value chain of the sector in implementing their financial strategy and mastering the risks related to transactional projects. Within the Transaction Services - FSI team, you will support our consultants dedicated to issues relating to the banking, insurance, financial services, fintech, insurance brokerage, management company, etc. sectors, by intervening with various players (Investment Funds, French and international banking and insurance Groups, Fintech) in their transaction projects in France and internationally. By joining this department, you will have the opportunity to develop your financial expertise, notably by intervening on: Business acquisition or disposal processes (financial due-diligences, buy and sell side): identifying opportunities and risks related to the contemplated transactions, the presentation of objective financial data and support in the execution of the contractual and financial conditions of the projects;

Financial diagnostics and business plan reviews (strategic reflections, transaction projects, subsidiary management, etc.); Business plan modeling (incorporating banking regulatory constraints) Valuation and appraisal projects (acquisition project, purchase price allocation, loan portfolio and financial instruments, impairment tests); Assistance with the Share Purchase Agreement (financial price adjustment conditions, guarantees, etc.); Assessment of damages in judicial and/or arbitration contexts; Purchase Price Allocation reviews. You will join a team of about fifteen people dedicated to Transaction Services FSI in France to carry out your first missions. Your skill development will be ensured by close supervision, thanks to a human-sized team and progressive exposure to financial topics. To accomplish these missions, you are currently pursuing your final year of Master's degree (Bac+5) and are looking for your 1st CDI job. Your professional project is therefore already directed towards the field of Transaction Services with a marked interest for the Banking and Insurance sector, which you are already informed about and of which you have a first understanding of the challenges. To thrive in this profession of numbers, you have already researched the field of Transactions. You have at least an appetite for corporate finance and financial analysis, ideally already proven through a first internship experience (in financial audit, for example), an ongoing specialization (finance / accounting), or through your own research and personal work. You are ready to demonstrate commitment, motivation, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong critical spirit, which will allow you to evolve successfully within a high-level environment, where teamwork and technical excellence are at the heart of our values.

Once these tests are completed, your application file will be studied in its entirety and you will receive a response within a few days to a maximum of 4 weeks. If you are selected at this first stage, you will be contacted to begin the interview process consisting of:

  • 2 interviews of 45 min conducted with experienced TS FSI analysts who will ensure they understand your background, your motivations, your financial and sectoral knowledge, as well as your level of English,
  • 1 final interview a few days later if the first interviews are positive, with a TS FSI Associate.

Verbal feedback will then be shared with you to inform you of our decision, a few days later.
