Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, you will supervise the Embedded Systems, Software, and Electronics team of the inkjet products division of the Markem-Imaje group located at the Bourg-Les-Valence site.

As part of the development activities carried out within the CIJ Products division, you manage software and electronic resources to serve product development projects. You are the guarantor of the use of engineering methodologies adapted to this scope. You manage the continuous improvement of activities within your scope.

Your main missions:

  • Supervise the Embedded Systems Software and Electronics team (approximately 15 Engineers and Technicians),
  • Ensure the adequacy of your team's workload based on available resources,
  • Contribute to the definition of the product division roadmap,
  • Define needs in terms of skills and tools, manage the budget, manage outsourcing, including internationally,
  • Define and deploy new approaches and working methodologies to design correctly using modeling,
  • Support the deployment of global engineering methodologies as defined by the central technology center.

Ideal skills and soft skills:

  • Engineering degree, or equivalent, and solid knowledge in professions related to embedded systems
  • At least 10 years of experience in managing embedded software and/or electronics teams.
  • Experience in continuous integration of embedded systems, ideally with a hydraulic and/or fluidic component.
  • Experience in managing Agile teams.
  • Mastery of system engineering methods, and processes related to design, integration, verification, and validation through the use of MIL, SIL, HIL tools.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong appetite for disruptive technologies and tools leveraging artificial intelligence.
  • Comfort working in a global matrix organization.
  • Fluent English is essential.
