Your tasks

We are looking for an experienced PLC programmer for an assignment at a manufacturing industrial company in Södertälje. You will join an AGV project and follow the control system from design to commissioning.

About the assignment The client is expanding the automation in their production with driverless trucks. You design and program the control systems, build the operator interfaces, and are present when the equipment is tested and started up. You work in a cross-functional team with production, machine suppliers, and IT.

What you will do

• Design and program PLC solutions based on the project's requirements
• Develop and manage HMI terminals for operators
• Develop architecture and system design for the control system
• Participate in performance tests, commissioning, and startup
• Be responsible for the machine interface during the procurement of new machines
• Document the solutions so they can be maintained

Requirements

• At least seven years of experience with PLC solutions
• Experience in HMI design and programming
• Knowledge of SCADA and TCP/IP networks
• Engineering background in electricity, automation, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering
• English in speech and writing
• On-site work in Södertälje full-time

• Experience in machine procurement
