Functional Tester Pension & IT

At Lumera, we are not looking for a test automation engineer who primarily wants to work with frameworks and scripts. We are looking for a hands-on tester who takes pleasure in the craft of testing itself.

With our platform AxyLife, we support pension funds and implementation organizations in executing complex pension processes. The coming years are entirely dedicated to the Wet toekomst pensioenen (WTP), digitalization, and the further development of our software. Your role As a Tester, you are responsible for preparing, executing, and improving testing activities within our software solutions and client implementations. You will work closely with modelleurs, developers, Product Owners, consultants, and client teams to ensure that new functionalities meet functional requirements, laws and regulations, and client agreements. You are a specialist in the field of software quality who identifies risks, analyzes findings, and ensures reliable deliveries.
What will you do?
- Drafting test scenarios and test cases based on requirements and functional designs.
- Performing FAT-tests (Functional Acceptance Tests).
- Performing integration, regression, and chain testing.
- Supporting GAT and acceptance testing.
- Assessing user stories, requirements, and functional designs.
- Identifying and documenting findings.
- Validating process flows, calculations, and business rules.
- Supporting implementations and new releases.
- Actively participating in refinements and sprint activities.
- Collaborating intensively with developers, modelleurs, and client teams.
- Contributing to the further improvement of our testing approach and quality processes.
Who are we looking for? We are looking for a tester who has gained experience within a complex administrative or financial environment. For example, within:
- Pension providers;
- Insurers;
- Banks;
- Financial services;
Additionally, you possess:
- At least 3 years of experience as a functional tester or software tester.
- Experience with FAT, integration, and chain testing.
- Experience with assessing requirements and functional designs.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages.
Plus
- ISTQB certification.
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience with XML.
- Experience with API testing.
- Knowledge of pension or insurance processes.
- Experience with acceptance testing or user acceptance testing (GAT/UAT).
