The position is assigned to the Chair of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy (Head: Prof. Dr. Thomas Ehring) and is based at the German Center for Mental Health (DZPG). The DZPG is a network consisting of a total of six locations. Its goal is to develop effective prevention, diagnosis, and therapy methods through faster translation of research results and to bring them into clinical care. The DZPG pursues a consistently participatory research approach. It is one of the German Centers for Health Research (DZG, deutschezentren.de). The focus of the DZPG activities at our chair is research on the psychological consequences of traumatic experiences in childhood and adolescence (MUC1 project).

We are looking for you:

Research Associate (m/f/d)

at the Munich location

This are your tasks:

  • Planning, implementation, and evaluation of studies within the framework of the DZPG MUC1 project, with a focus on investigating dynamic processes in everyday life using Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA) as well as Mobile Sensing in patients with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and other disorders following childhood trauma
  • Data management and analysis as well as preparation of publications
  • Support of organizational and coordinative processes within the framework of the DZPG-MUC1 project
  • Scientific further qualification (doctorate) is an integral part of the work and is actively supported.

This is you:

Requirements for employment are a very good university degree in Psychology or a related subject as well as very good written and spoken English skills. Experience in scientific work, a Master's degree with a scientific, methodological, or statistical focus, experience in the analysis of longitudinal data, and very good analytical skills are an advantage. Additionally, a willingness to work independently, high commitment, and good teamwork skills are desired.
