Our Paris office is looking for:
A junior Associate Lawyer (M/F) in business criminal law on a fixed-term contract (6 months)
Missions:
Due to an increase in activity and the temporary absence of lawyers in the team, come and strengthen the team dedicated to the practice of corporate criminal law and compliance, which currently consists of 1 partner and 3 associates.
You will be integrated into a growing team, located within the business law and litigation department. Its activity is largely cross-functional, conducted alongside the firm's recognized practices: real estate, energy, environment, social, corporate, ...
You will intervene in all aspects of the criminal liability of companies and executives (criminal defense, prevention and risk management, crisis communication, compliance, ...).
You will participate in the criminal defense of clients (executives, legal departments, elected officials and public authorities, ...) in various sectors (energy, real estate, insurance and banking, industry, transport, institutions, ...), from the investigation stage (police custody, requisition, hearing, ...) to the trial stage (submissions, oral arguments, ...).
You will also assist the criminal team in matters of prevention and risk management for clients through advisory activities (delegation of powers, audit and mapping, Sapin II and LCB-FT compliance programs, training, ...).
You will progressively be entrusted with files, as part of daily work with the partner and associates.
The team received the silver award in business criminal law at the Trophées du Droit 2026.
Candidate Profile:
- 3rd cycle in criminal law (Master 2), CAPA and swearing-in completed;
- Professional experience sought of less than 2 years;
- Experience in business criminal law;
- Experience in a court/administration is a plus;
- English level C1 / C2;
- Excellent legal skills and good writing skills;
- Taste for judicial proceedings and courtroom appearances;
- Reactivity and availability, spirit of initiative and dynamism, rigor and curiosity;
- Team spirit and good interpersonal skills.
