As North-West Europe Area Manager (France and Switzerland), you will report directly to the West and North Europe Sub-Region Manager, part of the EMEAI (Europe Middle East Africa India) Region.
MAIN MISSIONS
In accordance with the Sub-Region's pricing positioning, submit the area's commercial strategy to the manager and be responsible for its implementation in the area.
Generate new sales and new customers by identifying and prospecting industrial customers or distributors, potential users of the Phileo product range.
Develop and provide training, management, technical, and commercial support to the customer, with the help of support functions (Marketing, Category Manager, Technical Managers, Compliance, Quality).
Coordinate the implementation of commercial trials and handle technical customer requests, organizing interventions to provide technical assistance to customers when necessary.
Provide sales forecasts on a monthly basis.
Identify market needs and report portfolio gaps through an analysis of the area's market.
Propose a communication plan (events, trade fairs, etc.) and a marketing plan for the area's key brands, as well as relevant sales forecasts for approval during regular reviews.
Monitor competition in the market: collect data on local competition (information, samples, prices, etc.) and share it with Phileo management.
- Ensure reporting (accounts, visits, price lists, opportunities, etc.) in the Phileo CRM system.
Coordinate administrative files for products sold in the area, in collaboration with Phileo teams.
Lead and support the sales team and ensure a good social climate: participate in recruitment, ensure integration, conduct annual interviews, set objectives and sales targets, recommend team members for promotions, propose salaries and potential sanctions.
Required Training/Experience:
- Master's degree, engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial/sales functions, including managing a sales team.
- Solid expertise in animal nutrition and health, knowledge of the local target market and its players.
- Ability to master commercial negotiation techniques (price, volume, discounts, promotions) and to negotiate with suppliers for specific missions.
- Proven experience in sales and negotiation.
- Fluent English is mandatory; another language is a plus.

Scope of responsibility: North-West Europe (France and Switzerland), integrated into the West and North Europe Sub-Region, which is itself included in the EMEAI Region (Europe, Middle East, Africa, India).
Frequent business travel: 60% of the time.
