As the North and West Europe Sub-Region Manager, part of the EMEAI Region (Europe, Middle East, Africa, India), you will report directly to the EMEAI Director.

MAIN MISSIONS

  • Build a strategic plan for the sub-region with the team on a 3 to 5-year rolling horizon. Define and propose annual sales objectives and ensure S&OP compliance through monthly forecasts. Provide guidelines to the team.
  • Ensure sales growth with the team, with a solid pipeline of opportunities and sales tracking, trial support, information sharing, and reporting.
  • Develop the customer portfolio. Guarantee customer intimacy and coordination with all functions to develop the business. Provide guidance and support the local team to develop and execute their local plan.
  • Propose and execute marketing plans (events, trade shows, promotional campaigns) within approved budgets and with the support of corporate functions.
  • Identify market gaps and recommend portfolio improvements to Phileo management.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to strengthen brand visibility and demand generation.
  • Ensure reporting (accounts, visits, price lists, opportunities...) in the Phileo CRM system.
  • Coordinate administrative files for products sold in the sub-region, in collaboration with Phileo teams.
  • Lead and support Area Managers and their local teams and guarantee a good social climate: participate in recruitment, ensure integration, conduct annual interviews, set sales objectives and targets, recommend team members for promotions, propose salaries and potential sanctions.

Education/Experience:

  • Master's degree or Engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in managing sales teams
  • Solid experience and knowledge in animal nutrition and health, knowledge of target markets and their players
  • Structured and capable of planning all activities involved in the long term. Proven experience in developing and deploying action plans
  • Ability to understand the entire commercial chain; ability to decipher customer organization and identify influencers and decision-makers
  • Solid experience in sales and negotiation roles. Ability to manage and coordinate a sales team in a multicultural environment and with remote teams
  • Proficiency in English is essential, any other language is an asset
