Your tasks as Automation Engineer PLC/ Commissioning (m/f/d)

• Commissioning of machines and systems with a focus on automation and PLC controls
• Testing, adjustment, and optimization of control sequences within the framework of production testing
• Carrying out functional and process tests as well as systematic error analysis and troubleshooting
• Commissioning, adjustment, and optimization of machines and systems at the customer's site
• Technical support and supervision of conversion, repair, and maintenance assignments
• Taking over site coordination for demanding projects
• Instruction and training of customers as well as support for operating and maintenance personnel on-site
• Cooperation with design, programming, and other internal specialist departments
• Documentation of the work performed as well as coordination with the respective project managers

Your profile as Automation Engineer PLC/ Commissioning (m/f/d)

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, automation technology, or a comparable technical field; alternatively, a comparable qualification with corresponding professional experience
• Good to very good knowledge of PLC programming, ideally in the Siemens environment
• Secure understanding of electrical and automation technology contexts
• Ideally 2–3 years of professional experience in automation, commissioning, technical service, or maintenance
• Good English skills, especially technical English, for communication, instruction, and training of international customers
• Class B driver's license
• Willingness to travel worldwide for at least 50% of working time
• Due to international travel activities, EU citizenship or unrestricted ability to travel within and outside the EU is required
• High flexibility and enjoyment in getting to know different customers, machines, and international locations
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
