Equipment Worker / Activity Guide, Lapland Safaris Hetta
Lapland Staff is looking for equipment workers and activity guides for the Lapland Safaris Hetta location, as well as equipment workers for Lapland Safaris Olos for the 2026 Christmas season.
The duties of an equipment worker include taking care of the winter equipment used for international groups' safari programs. You will help customers dress appropriately for safaris or for a few days of holiday. After the safari, you are responsible for washing and organizing overalls, beanies, socks, and other items. You will ensure the cleanliness and good order of customer areas. The work is an important part of the success of the safari programs, and the work is done in a team.
Activity guides work outdoors in a Christmas-themed activity area, entertaining and guiding international Christmas groups, consisting mainly of families. The work is independent, but at the same time, there are several colleagues in the area, meaning the work is done within a large team. Your workstation could be a sled or snowmobile hill, running a snowmobile ring, or serving gingerbread in a snow castle and telling stories about the castle.
The activity guide's work is an important part of the whole, and every employee is responsible for good customer service and safety at their own workstation. Work tasks also include preparing the activity area before customers arrive and cleaning the area after the program has ended.
In Hetta, equipment workers also work shifts as activity guides for our Christmas-themed activities.
In Olos, equipment workers take care of the distribution and maintenance of Charter guests' clothing in the surroundings of Lapland Hotels Olos.
Communication with customers and colleagues takes place mainly in English. Your English skills do not need to be excellent, but you must be able to give dressing instructions, answer customers' questions briefly, or direct questions to another colleague.
We expect from you:
- An energetic and outgoing personality
- Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure
- Good group management skills
- A Christmas spirit and readiness to work with families, especially children.
We offer you:
- A pleasant work team and a wonderful working environment
- Good outdoor work clothes
- An easy way to come to Lapland to work
- Lapland Hotels & Safaris' comprehensive staff benefits. You will receive benefits including equipment rentals, restaurants, and lift passes for Lapland Ski Resorts ski centers.
