Postdoctoral position in global detection techniques for radicals in air
Tasks
Oxygenated organic radicals are important drivers of chemistry in many systems, such as the metabolism of living organisms, polymerization, combustion systems, and the natural environment (Earth's atmosphere). But few techniques can detect them today, especially in complex systems. We are seeking a motivated candidate to develop and apply global detection techniques for oxygenated radicals in ambient air and other complex systems. The work will involve both the operation and troubleshooting of existing techniques, such as chemical amplification, and the development and characterization of entirely new techniques, to be used both in laboratories and in ambient air. This position will be within the Nozière group at the Department of Chemistry at Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan in Stockholm.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, as required in daily work.
