Leading clinic in Dubai seeking specialist in fetal medicine

About the position

As a specialist in fetal medicine, you will work with the investigation, diagnostics, and follow-up of pregnant women with both normal and complicated pregnancies. You will be a central part of the multidisciplinary team working with fetal diagnostics, congenital malformations, genetic issues, and high-risk pregnancies.

The position is suitable for you who want to work in a modern hospital environment with high clinical activity and access to advanced ultrasound equipment and prenatal diagnostics.

You will collaborate closely with specialists in obstetrics and gynecology, neonatology, genetics, radiology, and other relevant medical fields.

Typical duties

• Fetal diagnostic examinations and assessments
• Ultrasound examinations during the first, second, and third trimesters
• Follow-up of high-risk pregnancies
• Assessment of fetal growth and placental function
• Diagnostics and follow-up of congenital malformations
• Counseling and follow-up of pregnant women with complicated pregnancies
• Multidisciplinary collaboration regarding prenatal diagnostics and treatment
• Supervision and teaching of other healthcare professionals
• Contributing to quality work and operational development

We are looking for you who

• Are a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology
• Have undergone formal subspecialization or further training in fetal medicine after completing specialist training
• Have at least three years of experience at a specialist level after completing specialist training
• Have extensive experience in prenatal diagnostics and fetal medicine
• Have very high competence in obstetric ultrasound
• Have very good knowledge of English
• Communicate well with patients and colleagues
• Have high medical competence with a focus on quality and patient safety
• Thrive in an international work environment

Salary and benefits

The base salary is approximately AED 90,000–100,000 per month, equivalent to approximately 2.8–3.1 million SEK per year, with the possibility of tax-free income.

For candidates trained and specialized in Scandinavia, the licensing process is normally very predictable and is handled by the employer's own licensing team.
