At the location in Karlsruhe, we are looking for an SAP BI Business Intelligence Developer & Engineer (m/f/d) in the context of the specialist, functional, and technical module support of the SAP modules. In addition to the current SAP version ECC 6.0, you can expect projects in the new version SAP S/4 HANA in the future. In addition to the SAP consulting you will work on, other common SAP modules are supported by colleagues. Your Activities:

• Design during the company-wide introduction of SAP Analytics Cloud
• Construction, conception, realization, and further development of planning and reporting systems, as well as reports for the generation of automated and semi-automated reports and of key figures for business management and company processes in coordination with the specialist departments
• Requirements analysis, conception, and operation of DWH/BI and Big Data solutions
• Design, implementation, test, and operation of ETL processes
• Construction and further development of planning and reporting systems
• Advising upper management
• Independent planning and execution of BI projects in controlling and/or cross-departmentally
• Conception and realization of standard, ad-hoc, and analysis reports
• Regular reporting

Your Requirements:

• Practical experience and preferably training in application development or a university degree in economics, business informatics, information technology, or alternatively a similar education
• Several years of professional experience in the BI or controlling environment
• Deep understanding of analytics architecture concepts (e.g., Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Lab) as well as different modeling methods
• Good knowledge of SAP Business Objects and SAP Analytics Cloud
• Extensive experience in the context of SAP cloud solutions
• Strong ability for abstraction, experience in dealing with large amounts of data
• Strong analytical skills, goal orientation, structured approach
• Curiosity to dive into new topics and technologies
• Very good analytical skills, careful and precise way of working
