Risk & Analysis Specialist for the automotive industry

Do you want to work data-driven in an international environment where your analyses contribute to business-critical decisions? We are now looking for an analytical and business-oriented Risk & Analysis Specialist for our client in the automotive industry.

About the role and your areas of responsibility In this role, you are responsible for analyzing market data and business outcomes to ensure accurate forecasts and well-founded decisions within residual value and leasing operations. You will work closely with internal experts and decision-makers, contributing qualified analyses that support the long-term profitability of the business. You will become an important part of a team where data quality, market insights, and strategic analysis are in focus.

Your main tasks As a Risk & Analysis Specialist, you will, among other things:

• Handle, process, and analyze large datasets to evaluate business results and market developments.
• Perform validations, quality assurance, and backtesting of analyses and forecasting models.
• Contribute market knowledge and expertise to local expert groups and committees within the used car area.
• Support the work of determining quarterly residual values as well as producing internal and external forecasts.
• Continuously follow up on and reassess quarterly market forecasts for all operational leasing contracts within the Nordic market.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and present recommendations to internal stakeholders.

To qualify for the role, we see that you

• Have experience in data analysis, risk analysis, or business analysis.
• Are used to working with large datasets and have strong analytical thinking.
• Have a good understanding of statistical methods, forecasting work, and quality assurance of data.
• Enjoy converting complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
• Have very good knowledge of Excel and preferably experience with BI tools or other analysis tools.
• Communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written.

To succeed in the role, you are meticulous, structured, and business-driven. You have strong personal drive, like working with facts and analysis, and are comfortable collaborating with various stakeholders in an international organization.

We offer The position is located with our client in Sollentuna. The premises are modern and include a lunch restaurant as well as access to a gym.
