Accounting Assistant within Accounts Payable

Are you at the beginning of your career in finance and want to develop in a role where you can combine accuracy, problem-solving, and improvement work? We are now looking for a dedicated accounting assistant for an exciting assignment focusing on accounts payable.

The Role as Accounting Assistant In this role, you are responsible for the handling and bookkeeping of supplier invoices and contribute to ensuring effective and high-quality financial processes. You work proactively to identify opportunities for improvement, solve problems, and manage deviations in daily operations.

Examples of tasks

• Handling and bookkeeping of supplier invoices
• Follow-up and management of deviations
• Escalation of problems according to current processes
• Identifying and suggesting improvements for more efficient workflows
• Collaboration with internal and external contact points

Your background, experience, and competence We are looking for someone who has at least a two-year post-secondary education in finance and at least one year of work experience from finance-related tasks. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing, and have good system proficiency as well as an interest in financial processes and efficiency. If you have experience with Unit4/Agresso, it is a merit.

Good to know This is a full-time consulting assignment starting on November 2, 2026, with the assignment period lasting until April 30, 2027. The role can be located in both Göteborg and Karlskrona.
