Business Controller to an international company

Do you want to take on a qualified controller assignment where you get to combine financial analysis with business understanding and work in an international environment? We are now looking for an analytical and curious Business Controller for a well-reputed global company in Stockholm. This is a consulting assignment for you who want to get close to the operations and work broader than traditional reporting. You will become part of an international organization with many contact surfaces and get the opportunity to contribute with analyses and insights that are used in the operations' follow-up and decision-making. The assignment is full-time and is estimated to last for approximately 6 months. About the assignment In the role, you will work with both ongoing financial follow-up as well as analysis and development-oriented issues. You will collaborate with colleagues within both finance and the operations, with contact surfaces both in Sweden and internationally. An important part of the assignment is being able to see beyond the numbers – to understand what drives the development, identify deviations, and transform financial information into clear conclusions and useful decision-making support. Your tasks will among other things involve: working with financial reporting, follow-up, and analysis

participating in forecast, monthly closing, and consolidation processes

analyzing the operations' results

producing decision-making support and performing various ad hoc analyses

supporting different parts of the international organization in financial matters

working with and developing reporting and visualization of financial data

contributing to more efficient working methods, digitalization, and improved processes within controlling

The role gives you a broad insight into how a large international operation is managed and followed up and therefore suits you particularly well if you want to develop further within business controlling and operations-oriented finance. Who are we looking for? We are looking for you who have an academic degree in economics, finance, industrial engineering, or equivalent and who have acquired several years of relevant work experience as a controller. To succeed in the assignment, we believe that you: have very good knowledge of Excel and Power BI

are used to working with large datasets and financial information

communicate fluently in English both orally and in writing

have an analytical way of working and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with complex issues

are self-driven, proactive, and thrive with many contact surfaces.

Good knowledge of Power BI, ERP-system, or other BI and analysis tools is strongly meritous. It is also positive if you have previously worked in a large international organization or in an operation with complex flows.
