Business Manager
IPLAN GROUP is a company specialized in engineering services, with extensive experience in the Energy, Industry, Urbanism, Water, and Environment sectors. We are part of VULCAIN ENGINEERING, a French international group of engineering companies with a multi-sector approach, specialized in the main areas of Infrastructure and Energy. Currently, we are looking to hire a Business Manager to drive business development in the Energy, Industry, and Infrastructure sectors, based in Madrid. What will your main responsibilities be?
- Business development
Identify new commercial opportunities and develop a client portfolio in the Energy, Industry, and Infrastructure sectors.
Design and execute commercial strategies adapted to the needs of each client.
Detect new needs and business opportunities, proposing innovative technical-commercial solutions in collaboration with the different units of the group.
Manage client relationships, performing project follow-up and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Develop long-term commercial relationships and contribute to the loyalty and growth of the client portfolio.
- Talent selection and management
Identify and select the best technical profiles to respond to client needs.
Design and implement effective, results-oriented selection strategies.
Anticipate future talent needs based on the evolution of the client portfolio and projects.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure adequate coverage of project needs.
- Project and team management
Lead and manage complex projects, guaranteeing compliance with cost, quality, and deadline objectives.
Coordinate and supervise the necessary resources to ensure the correct development of each project.
Lead, motivate, and develop teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
- Economic and financial responsibility
Achieve established billing objectives.
Perform economic monitoring of projects and contribute to guaranteeing their profitability.
Participate in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and business forecasts. What are we looking for? Education Degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering or a specialization related to the energy sector.
Complementary training in Business School, Commercial Management, Business Management, or similar will be positively valued.
Experience Minimum of 1 year of experience in consulting, engineering, or professional services companies, performing functions related to business development, project management, or similar positions.
Experience in the Energy, Industry, and Infrastructure sectors will be especially valued.
