Business Development Specialist

Responsibilities and assignments

• Identify new markets, technological trends, customer needs, and expansion opportunities;
• Prospect and identify customers and new project opportunities, performing consultative sales;
• Development of new businesses focusing on ICT solutions applied to different segments (Health, Education, Industry);
• Develop business plans for the growth of the Institute's operations and the addition of value to customer products;
• Interact with the Institute's technical areas in the preparation of technological solution proposals;
• Monitor the development of negotiated projects;
• Develop and maintain partnerships with other technology companies, suppliers, or complementary companies to create synergies that drive business;
• Negotiate contracts and collaboration agreements to integrate third-party technologies or resources;
• Collaborate with leadership to define growth goals in terms of revenue, market penetration, and geographic expansion;
• Develop business plans to expand the company into new markets or regions;
• Maintain a close relationship with customers and strategic partners, ensuring they are satisfied and that new business opportunities can be generated;
• Work to increase customer retention and loyalty, ensuring a continuous and beneficial relationship.

Requirements and qualifications

• Completed higher education in Engineering or Computer Science, preferably;
• Postgraduate degree and/or MBA in related areas;
• Experience with consultative sales, preferably involving hardware, software, and digital transformation;
• Experience with new business development;
• Advanced English for conversation, reading, and writing.
