HEAD OF ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT 2 – HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

Based on the decision of the Director of Institut Ruđer Bošković, a P U B L I C C O M P E T I T I O N is announced to fill the vacant systematized job position: Job position Head of organizational unit 2 – head of the Department for international cooperation, Department for international cooperation, Service for projects and knowledge transfer, Zagreb 1 executor, for an indefinite period.

Requirements:

• university or professional graduate study or university integrated undergraduate and graduate study of economics (level of the Croatian Qualifications Framework 7.1. univ. or 7.1. prof.)
• at least 4 years of work experience in jobs related to administrative-financial project management
• computer literacy
• knowledge of the English language.

Advantage:

• experience in the preparation and implementation of bilateral and multilateral projects.

Summary job description:

• organizes work and coordinates activities within the Department
• administrative-financial preparation and implementation of projects with a special emphasis on international cooperation projects
• financial management
• monitoring regulations within the scope of work and aligning the Department's work with applicable regulations
• care for the improvement of work processes within the scope of the Department
• transfer of information, knowledge, and experience from the field of work
• other tasks within the scope of the Department.

The employment relationship is established with a probationary period of 6 months.

Candidates applied to the public competition, who meet the conditions prescribed by the published competition, will be invited to an oral (via interview) and/or written (via testing) verification of knowledge related to the needs of the job and knowledge of the English language. Candidates will be notified of the date of the interview/testing via email. If a candidate does not attend the interview/testing, they will no longer be considered a candidate in the further implementation of the competition procedure. The commission may decide that candidates who enter the shortlist be referred to psychological testing, with the aim of assessing personal potential.

• proof of seniority from the Hrvatski zavod za mirovinsko osiguranje
• other documents proving the fulfillment of the conditions from the competition.

In accordance with Article 13 of the Act on Gender Equality, persons of both sexes may apply for the competition.

Candidates who, based on special regulations, can achieve the right of advantage in employment are obliged, in the application for the competition, to refer to that right and are, in addition to proof of fulfillment of the required conditions from the competition, obliged to submit all evidence that the valid special regulations prescribe for the exercise of the stated right, and this is in accordance with:

Applications for the competition, with the mandatory mention of the name of the job position to which the candidate is applying in the subject of the electronic message, are submitted within 8 days from the day of publication on the pages of the Hrvatski zavod za zapošljavanje to the email address: natjecaji.pp@irb.hr. Incomplete and untimely applications to the Competition will not be considered.

The results of the competition will be published within 8 days of the end of the competition on the website of Institut Ruđer Bošković (https://www.irb.hr/O-IRB-u/Obavijesti-o-ishodu-natjecajnog-postupka), and applicants to the competition will not be individually notified of the same. By publishing the results of the competition on the website, it is considered that all applied candidates have been notified of the outcome of the competition.
