Participate in new product industrialization projects and process improvement initiatives by designing and developing tooling, devices, tools, and auxiliary manufacturing means.
Prepare designs and assemblies using 3D CAD tools and generate the necessary technical documentation for their manufacture and assembly.
Perform and document mechanical calculations, including verifications of strength, stiffness, stability, stresses, deformations, joints, and fastening elements.
Select materials, commercial components, and appropriate constructive solutions for each application.
Define tolerances, fits, surface finishes, and control criteria for the tooling.
Collaborate with suppliers and external workshops during the manufacture, assembly, and adjustment of the tooling.
Prepare bills of materials, manufacturing drawings, assembly instructions, and associated technical documentation.
Ensure that the designed solutions comply with applicable technical, regulatory, and safety requirements.
Resolve technical problems arising during the manufacture or use of the tooling and handling.
Requirements: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Mechanical Manufacturing, or similar.
Experience in the design and mechanical calculation of tooling, manufacturing devices, or industrial machinery.
Proficiency in 3D CAD design tools and technical drawing generation.
Solid knowledge of strength of materials, mechanical design, and proficiency in FEM calculation.
Experience in preparing calculations and technical justifications for mechanical solutions.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and the transformation of capital goods.
Ability to interpret and apply technical drawing standards, tolerances, and fits.
