FIRMWARE PROGRAMMING ENGINEER

Ingeteam, a leading company specialized in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is looking to incorporate a Firmware Programming Engineer to join the Solar PV & BESS business unit in Sarriguren (Navarra).

Mission: You will be responsible for performing technical tasks involving the design, development, and validation of control firmware for power electronic converters for photovoltaic and battery storage applications.

Among your main challenges, the following work is highlighted: Design and programming of FW for power electronic converters for photovoltaic and battery applications

Design and programming of: state machine modules - control - data logger - communications - low-level driver (memory access, RTC, etc.) - high-level functions - etc.

Validation of inverter FW

Carrying out validation tests with customers

Preparation and review of product-related documentation

Providing support for the resolution of field incidents and technical assistance that requires high product knowledge

Coordination with after-sales and manufacturing to resolve manufacturing or field incidents and incorporate improvements into designs

Ensuring compliance with established deadlines in those actions that require it

Requirements: Degree in Industrial/Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering

Previous experience in similar roles.

B2 level of English

Knowledge of programming in C and experience in DPS

B1 driving license

Availability to travel (national and international scope)

The following will be positively valued: Knowledge of power electronics

Knowledge of automatic control

Knowledge of communication buses

Knowledge of programs: PSIM, MATLAB, HIL or other simulation SW
