R&D FW DSP ENGINEER FOR POWER CONVERTERS
Ingeteam, a leading company specialized in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is looking to hire an R&D FW DSP Engineer to carry out the following functions: Research and development of new control algorithms and/or modulation techniques that provide a competitive advantage for the Ingedrive product
Propose improvement actions. Identification of new ideas and control strategies that allow for the improvement or optimization of current or future designs
Implement and validate control algorithms in different phases of the SW life cycle:
Model In the Loop (MIL)
Software In the Loop (SIL)
Hardware In the Loop (HIL) Platform
Converter
Coordinate the integration of developments into the final product with the PLC / HMI application developers
Review and prepare documentation associated with the developed SW product, both regarding the source code and the algorithms or control strategies
Maintain traceability and order in the developed SW product (version control, incident control...)
Provide technical support related to their area of specialization for equipment commissioning and/or field incidents and/or attend in person for the commissioning of the developed system if necessary
Requirements:
Higher Engineering studies in Electronics and Industrial Automation, Telecommunications Engineering, Master's in Embedded Systems or similar
Programming in C
Simulation tools (Matlab/Simulink, PSIM, PSCAD)
Power electronics.
Advanced use of office tools
English minimum B2
The following will be valued:
Programming (C#, C++, IEC61131, VHDL, Phython)
Knowledge of control systems and converter algorithms
Basic knowledge in power electronics and electrical machine control.
Previous experience in the design and development of high technological value products in product development departments.
