MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

From our FACTS —Flexible AC Transmission Systems— business unit, which is in full expansion, we are looking to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer to participate in projects involving power electronics converters, ventilation, cooling, and pumping units, industrial machine elements, and complex installations.

Main responsibilities

• Design and assembly of power electronics converter cabinets: sheet metal processes —folded thin sheet, welding, painting, and assembly of electronics components—.
• Design and assembly of ventilation, cooling, and pumping units: cooling cabinets with pumps and heat exchangers.
• Design of industrial machine elements and machine tools: machining of heavy parts, tolerances, and finishes.
• Preparation of installation and complex machine implementation plans: layouts and P&ID.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Technical Engineering —mechanical specialty—.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Solid Edge .
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Teamcenter .
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the creation and interpretation of plans .
• Knowledge of sheet metal work, machining, welding, painting, and assembly.
• C1 English level or equivalent .

It will be valued

• Experience in power electronics converters.
• Experience in cooling and pumping systems.
• Experience in machine tools and machining of heavy parts.
• Knowledge of industrial layouts and P&ID.
• Driving license.
