MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Ingeteam, a leading company specializing in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer for the Calculation and Design of Synchronous Compensators in the FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission Systems) Engineering Dept., at our Beasain plant.

Misión Responsible for the mechanical development, analysis, and optimization of high-power synchronous compensators. The candidate will actively participate in all stages of the product life cycle, from conceptual design and mechanical calculations to manufacturing monitoring and continuous design improvement.

Cometidos principales Perform complete mechanical calculations for synchronous compensators and electrical generators.

Provide continuous technical monitoring during the manufacturing process.

Provide technical support to production and assembly.

Participate in manufacturing reviews and the resolution of non-conformities.

Evaluate manufacturing deviations and propose technical solutions.

Develop mechanical improvements to increase reliability and efficiency.

Optimize designs for reduction of weight, costs, and manufacturing times.

Participate in innovation and technological development projects.

Develop standardization of mechanical solutions.

Requisitos Mechanical, Electromechanical, or related Engineering.

Desirable specialization or master's degree in rotating machines, structural dynamics, or mechanical design.

Desirable knowledge in FEM analysis.

Verifiable experience in the mechanical design and calculation of generators, motors, or synchronous compensators will be valued.

English and, valuably, Euskera.
