Ingeteam, a leading company specialized in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is looking to hire an Embedded SW Design Engineer for regulation and control to carry out the following functions:

Functions:

  • Design, develop, and test DSP algorithms and applications for converter control, efficiently managing the approved material and technical resources for this purpose
  • Maintain traceability and order in the developed SW product (version control, incident control…)
  • Use management tools that allow for support of the developed SW product
  • Optimally integrate R&D developments into the embedded firmware, efficiently managing memory and timing limitations
  • Perform functional verification and validation tests of the developed SW on CPU, HIL platform, or converter
  • Proactively detect, analyze, and resolve incidents within the embedded software area
  • Provide technical support related to their area of specialization for the development of PLC applications
  • Review and prepare documentation associated with the developed SW product, regarding both the source code and the algorithms or control strategies

Requirements:

  • Higher Engineering studies in Electronics and Industrial Automation, Telecommunications Engineering, Master's in Embedded Systems, or similar
  • Programming (C)
  • Simulation tools (Matlab/Simulink, PSIM, PSCAD)
  • Advanced use of office tools
  • Minimum B2 English

The following will be valued:

  • Programming (C#, C++, Codesys, VHDL, Phython)
  • Knowledge of control systems and converter algorithms
  • Basic knowledge in power electronics and electrical machine control
  • Previous experience in the design and development of high technological value products in product development departments
  • Communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
