Payroll Specialist – maternity cover

We are looking for an experienced payroll specialist who can help ensure correct, timely, and smooth payroll processing in a maternity cover position.

Your tasks In this role, you will be responsible for daily payroll administration and contribute to ensuring that employees receive the correct salary on time. In close collaboration with colleagues in Finance, People, and the rest of the organization, you will combine solid payroll expertise with a service-minded and structured approach, as well as a sharp eye for detail. In addition to ensuring correct and timely payroll processing, as our new payroll specialist, you will:

• Handle the monthly Danish payroll for monthly-salaried consultants, directors, back office, as well as hourly-paid employees, from preparation and validation to final approval
• Ensure that salary, pension, employee benefits, deductions, and other payroll elements are processed correctly and on time
• Apply relevant rules regarding salary, tax, pension, and employment conditions in daily work

Furthermore, you must be a trusted payroll specialist who:

• Answers payroll-related questions from employees and managers clearly, approachably, and discretely
• Collaborates closely with colleagues in Finance and People regarding employee changes and payroll matters
• Coordinates with external vendors and authorities as needed
• Plans maternity leave as well as reimbursement claims in collaboration with an external partner

Your profile We are looking for an experienced payroll profile who combines an eye for detail with a strong service gene, takes responsibility for recurring processes, and collaborates constructively with stakeholders across the organization. We would like you to have:

• A solid payroll foundation: you have 3–5 years of practical experience from a similar payroll or accounting role, including payroll processing and payroll-related tasks; knowledge of EPOS and Maconomy is an advantage, but not a requirement

• A structured and reliable approach: structure and order characterize your way of working, so you can handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, handle confidential information discretely, and deliver a consistently high quality

• A collaborative service gene: you contribute with positive energy and a good mood, communicate clearly, and thrive on helping employees and managers; you are proficient with IT systems and can speak and write English in a professional context
