Job Description

Our new digital service in the field of fleet management for military systems is currently being rolled out to the first international customers. Do you want to be responsible for international deployment projects in military fleet management and successfully bring digital solutions into operational use? The Defence & Security business unit is specifically committed to the armed forces and is a recognized technical service provider at national and international levels in the conception of solutions, the support of analysis, development, and realization projects, and the provision of services.

Activities

• Planning, structuring, controlling, and leading highly complex deployment projects for digital solutions in the field of maintenance of military weapon systems
• Guidance and functional leadership of the employees assigned to the projects as well as, if applicable, external subcontractors
• Full-scale project planning, control, and monitoring with consistent adherence to Time-Cost-Quality, creation of project-specific procedural specifications
• Responsibility for contractually compliant service delivery considering the budget, as well as active management of changes in performance
• Ensuring a smooth internal and external flow of information as well as guaranteeing customer satisfaction
• Maintaining and expanding close contacts with all stakeholders, bringing new impulses to the department, and significant participation in the preparation of offers
• Supporting sales in the acquisition of new development projects as well as taking over proposal management if required
• Development and implementation of long-term product strategies within the framework of the responsible projects in coordination with business development and sales, conducting acceptances at the customer site

Requirements

• Completed university degree in the field of natural sciences, engineering, or economics, or comparable
• Robust experience in project management with a focus on IT projects or roll-outs, ideally in an international environment
• Relevant certifications (IPMA, PRINCE2, PMI, ITIL, CMMI, V-Modell XT, SCRUM), ideally in connection with intensive practical application
• Several years of experience in the fleet management of military systems would be ideal
• Confident handling of the Time-Cost-Quality tension in the context of project management
• Structured and integrating working style as well as high self-motivation for successful project implementation within the planned framework
• Enthusiasm for digital innovations in the context of use of military systems, pioneering spirit, and willingness to realize new topics, as well as strong customer orientation
• Business fluent English skills as well as a confident appearance in the national and international project environment
