The position:
As a night receptionist, you are the guarantor of the continuity of the Alparena experience during the night hours. You ensure reception, security, administrative management, and the preparation for the following day. You are an experienced receptionist, perfectly autonomous and capable of mastering all reception missions. Your main missions: Reception & customer relations
Welcome late arrivals and manage early departures
Ensure a reassuring and available presence throughout the night
Ensure the continuity of the attentions put in place by the day team: early breakfast, early morning taxis, VIP attentions?
Day reception
Check-in / check-out, payments, invoicing, last-minute reservations
Responding to emails and customer requests
Night Audit
Daily closing and validation of operations: payments, invoicing, no-shows, debtors
Entry of restaurant consumption on PMS invoices
Issuing daily reports and closing the PMS
Preparation of the next day's arrivals: room assignment, file verification, anticipation of specific requests
Security & surveillance
Ensure the security of the establishment and perform regular rounds
Manage emergency situations with composure and autonomy
Coordination & reporting
Write night reports and transmit key information to the day teams
Ensure the link between teams and guarantee the continuity of the experience
Profile sought:
Training A hotel diploma is an asset. Experience
Professional references and/or letters of recommendation are an important criterion in the examination of applications.
A first experience in hotel reception is required.
Experience in high-end hospitality is strongly appreciated.
Languages
Fluent English mandatory: high-level oral expression, telephone exchanges, and written communication.
Mastery of a second foreign language is indispensable: Italian, Dutch, or German.
Skills
Excellent mastery of the codes of reception and hospitality.
Mastery of Pack Office, with Excel being imperative.
Mastery of a hotel PMS: Opera, Mews, Resalys or equivalent.
Soft skills
Particularly developed sense of customer service.
Strong sense of detail and quality.
Team spirit and ability to work effectively in collaboration.
