For an established company in the mechanical and plant engineering sector, we are looking for reinforcement for the international technical sales department at the earliest possible date.
Our client develops individual plant solutions for industrial applications, combining engineering, technical consulting, and international sales. We are looking for a sales-oriented personality who understands technical contexts and accompanies customers from the first contact to the conclusion of the contract.
Your tasks
- Support and expansion of existing international customer relationships
- Active acquisition of new customers and development of further market potentials
- Consulting on technically demanding products and plant solutions
- Creation and follow-up of individual offers
- Conducting price and contract negotiations until completion
- Close coordination with Engineering, Service, and Project Management
- Observation of market and competitor developments
- Participation in international trade fairs and customer appointments
- International travel activity of approx. 30–40 %
Your profile
- Technical training or studies, for example in Maschinenbau, Anlagenbau, or in der Verfahrenstechnik
- Experience in technical sales, ideally in Maschinenbau or Anlagenbau
- Good technical understanding and enjoyment of consulting-intensive products
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Independent and structured way of working
- Very good English skills
- Willingness for international travel
