Accountant - Tax Specialist

Job Objective: Responsible for the correct accounting and tax management of a business group composed of 7 companies of different sectors, ensuring compliance with current tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations, as well as the tax optimization of the group.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain the general and tax accounting of the group's companies.
• Prepare and file monthly and annual tax returns (ISR, IVA, DIOT, etc.).
• Supervise correct accounting records in accordance with tax provisions and NIF.
• Coordinate and control monthly and annual accounting closings.
• Prepare consolidated and individual company financial statements.
• Attend to SAT requirements and internal or external audits.
• Analyze and propose tax planning strategies.
• Control bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Coordinate with the administrative and operational areas of each company.
• Keep the group's tax and accounting information up to date.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Contaduría Pública (degree obtained).
• Specialty or verifiable experience in tax.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a tax accountant, preferably in business groups.
• Solid knowledge of current tax legislation.
• Proficiency in ERP, intermediate-advanced Excel, and SAT platforms.
• Experience managing multiple legal entities (razones sociales).
• Analytical capacity, organization, and attention to detail.
