INTERNAL CONTROL COORDINATOR (Data Governance)

JOB OBJECTIVE:

Align financial and operational regulations and policies with governance criteria and access to management systems by analyzing existing optimization gaps to allow for actions and adjustments for their proper functioning and implementation; likewise, diagnose risks for Grupo Herdez and subsidiaries, allowing for the early identification of risks and collaborating with business areas for their evaluation, treatment, and monitoring, enabling early actions and reducing the financial impact on the organization.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Establish the work plan that will allow the connection and alignment between the defined regulations and the management systems, incorporating authorized policies into the systems to make the functioning and use of financial information for decision-making more efficient
• Implement connection initiatives between the defined regulations and the management systems, coordinating actions with the areas involved in the process to improve the effectiveness of the use of financial information
• Establish governance and administration guidelines for the different databases, attending to internal control principles (segregation of duties, access, etc.) aligned with assertions such as authorization, integrity and accuracy, evaluation, etc.
• Operate the access and governance criteria that employees from different financial areas will have in order to increase effectiveness in the use and management of information
• Advise the administration and finance areas on the criteria and scope of the financial information management systems in order to clarify the levels of access and authorization that each one has
• Ensure that the fulfillment of their functions is carried out in compliance with the standards, policies, and procedures established by the organization.
• Apply diagnostic methodologies for risk management that will be used with the different areas of Grupo Herdez, with the purpose of obtaining findings that allow for risk mitigation
• Data analysis that allows for early risk identification, as well as monitoring potential risks that Grupo Herdez, affiliates, and subsidiaries may face in existing processes that could have a financial and image impact on the organization.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems, Administration, or related field

3 years of experience:

• In governance and implementation of administrative systems
• In corporate governance frameworks applied to databases (transactional and non-transactional)
• In business rules with clients.
• In SAROX

Technical Knowledge:

• Of enabling systems in the various business processes (SAP).
• Of governance and systems administration, as well as analysis and databases.
• Of internal controls, specifically segregation of duties.
• In the development of dashboards for information presentation.
• In risk management models and frameworks ISO 31,000 and Internal Control (COSO)

Technological Knowledge:

• Office Suite
• SQL
• SAP
• Knowledge in artificial intelligence (ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, etc.)

Workplace: Corporativo Herdez, (Delegación Miguel Hidalgo, 1 block from Metro Cuatro Caminos)

Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm, Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

We offer:

Base salary of $24,500.00 gross Statutory and Superior Benefits
