RESPONSIBILITIES:

As part of the continued development of our business, we are looking for:

A MATERIALS ENGINEER M/F

Within the framework of projects related to the evolution of aeronautical computers and the regulatory compliance of products (REACh, material obsolescence, surface treatments, paints, PFAS...), you will intervene in support of engineering teams in managing technical and documentary modifications of equipment. In this capacity, your main missions will be:

Analysis of technical files:

  • Identify items affected by regulatory or industrial evolutions;
  • Utilize data from the PLM (BOM, drawings, technical specifications, nomenclatures);
  • Verify the processing history of items;
  • Identify any documentary discrepancies;
  • Analyze material certificates, definition drawings, surface treatments, and coatings;
  • Determine the functional location of components (internal, external, sealing zones, hermeticity zones);

Materials analysis:

  • Verify the compliance of materials with regulatory requirements;
  • Identify substances subject to REACh or in a state of obsolescence;
  • Search for substitution solutions;
  • Propose adapted technical evolutions;
  • Justify technical choices;

Documentary management:

  • Write technical justification files;
  • Create ISS in the PLM tool;
  • Describe applicable environmental conditions;
  • Ensure documentary consistency between different ISS;
  • Guarantee the traceability of evolutions;

Preparation and facilitation of COMOD:

  • analysis of impacted objects;
  • verification of use cases;
  • presentation of technical files;
  • preparation of decisions;
  • follow-up of actions;
  • progress reporting;
  • validation of modification proposals;

Writing of evolution sheets:

  • Write evolution sheets (FME) in English;
  • Integrate remarks from various stakeholders;
  • Organize proofreading;
  • Ensure follow-up of signatures;
  • Manage potential feedback from the final customer;

REQUIRED PROFILE:

Coming from a higher education background at the Bac+5 level (engineering school or university) with a specialization in materials or mechanics, you have a minimum of 2 years of experience within a demanding industrial environment in the aeronautics, space, defense, or electronics sectors. You master the requirements related to REACH regulations and are comfortable with technical data management tools such as MyPLM as well as with ISO standards. A B1 level of English is required.

You are recognized for your analytical spirit, your documentary rigor, and your sense of organization. Autonomous and proactive, you know how to take initiatives while demonstrating a great capacity for synthesis. Possessing good interpersonal skills, you enjoy teamwork and are comfortable in multidisciplinary environments requiring collaboration and adaptability.

Permanent contract (CDI) to be filled in Bièvres (91), remuneration between 34 and 36K€ per year depending on profile and experience + benefits.
