Responsibilities and duties

Act in the technical conduct of the company's foreign trade operations, ensuring the correct customs classification of imports and exports, compliance with current legislation, and control of special customs regimes applicable to the aeronautical sector.

Scope:

Direct interaction with internal areas, customs brokers, consenting bodies, national and international suppliers, and government authorities, ensuring the compliance and efficiency of operations.

Main responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and define the customs classification of import and export operations;
  • Perform technical analysis and monitoring of processes linked to special customs regimes;
  • Conduct dealings related to DI, DUIMP, LPCO, licenses, consents, and other customs documents;
  • Monitor rectifications, nationalizations, documentary regularizations, and the closing of special regimes;
  • Monitor legal deadlines and regulatory requirements applicable to operations;
  • Act alongside customs brokers ensuring the correct execution of processes;
  • Identify operational, tax, and customs risks, proposing preventive and corrective actions;
  • Support audits, inspections, and demands from government agencies;
  • Prepare controls, indicators, and management reports related to foreign trade operations;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and the regulatory compliance of the company.

Requirements and qualifications

These must be in your background:

  • Completed Higher Education in Foreign Trade, Administration, International Relations, Logistics, Law, or related fields;
  • Consolidated experience in import and export operations;
  • Advanced knowledge of customs legislation and special customs regimes;
  • Previous experience as a customs broker or equivalent role in the analysis and guidance of customs operations;
  • Knowledge of DI, DUIMP, LPCO, consents, and customs clearance processes;
  • Advanced English for communication with international suppliers and partners;
  • Analytical capacity and autonomy for conducting critical operations.

Desirable knowledge:

  • Experience in the aeronautical segment;
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus;
  • Intermediate or advanced Spanish is a plus;
  • Knowledge of AI tools applied to productivity and data analysis.
