Project-employed communicator focusing on study visit activities

Tasks

The mission of the communication unit is to lead, coordinate, and develop the administration's internal and external communication. The unit supports the operations in planning, implementing, and following up on communication efforts, as well as ensuring coordinated and purposeful communication. The mission includes both strategic and operational communication work. The employment is for one year with a possible extension.

We are now looking for an experienced communicator with a pedagogical focus who is passionate about sustainability, cycles, and reuse. The mission is to make our recycling parks visible and create attention around them, with a focus on the new recycling park in Högsbo which opens in January 2027.

You will be part of the communication unit with five communicators, a communication strategist, and the communication manager as your immediate supervisor. You will perform your daily work closely with the waste operations and largely on-site at Kretsloppspark Högsbo.

Kretsloppspark Högsbo is a modern, sustainable, and innovative operation, and there is great interest in coming for study visits.

Your task will be to develop inspiring concepts and content for the study visit activities as well as to continuously develop them. You will also be the one conducting the study visits, and it is important that you are good at storytelling, inspiring, and getting others to listen. You think, act, and operate creatively to reach out with our environmental messages in an effective way. You enjoy meeting people and like speaking before large groups.

The mission also includes communication strategic work to make the recycling operations and reuse of Kretslopp och vatten visible and profiled.

You will maintain the graphic profile regarding printed matter, signs, and other communication at the recycling parks. You are responsible for coordinating and developing the tone of voice and graphic expression in social media.

You will also work with the operation's customer and operational communication to best meet the needs of the people of Göteborg regarding reuse and recycling.

Qualifications

University degree in communication studies or other equivalent education.

Requirements:

Experience in communication strategic work and producing communication material. Experience working with pedagogical activities such as study visit activities or education. Experience working with content in and development of social media. Very good knowledge of English to be able to conduct study visits in English.

Merit:

Experience working with brand profiling. Experience in customer and operational communication. Education in pedagogy and project management is meritorious.
