About the Department
GF operates a Test Facility at the Dresden site. As a department of the Fab, Test is responsible for the functional testing of manufactured wafers, known as Wafer Sort. The development of test solutions for autonomous mobility, Industry 4.0, and 5G in Europe is an interesting and major challenge, for which we would like to expand the team with an experienced Test Development Engineer.
Job Profile
As a Test Engineer, you are responsible for the development of test programs and test hardware for the functional testing of SOC Devices with Memory, NVM, Logic, and Mixed Signal as well as RF components, and the transfer of test programs into production. The tasks include:
- Development and maintenance of data analysis tools and reporting templates for wafer test data
- Analysis of electrical characterization data of NVM, Memory, Logic, Mixed-Signal, and RF products
- Identification of yield limitations and derivation of optimization measures
- Correlation of test, technology, and manufacturing data for root cause analysis
- Creation of yield, Pareto, bitmap, and customer reports
- Collaboration with Technology Development, Yield Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams
- Support in the transfer of new products and technologies into production
Required Qualifications
- Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Communications Engineering, Physics, or a comparable course of study
- Initial professional experience in the field of semiconductor testing, data analysis, or electrical characterization is an advantage
- Good knowledge of statistical data analysis and evaluation of large data volumes
- Programming skills in Python, Perl, or C/C++
- Knowledge in the field of Embedded NVM, memory technologies, or Mixed-Signal circuits is an advantage
- Analytical and structured way of working
- Very good written and spoken English skills
