Supply and Logistics Analyst
Empresa Gulda Agro Selva is looking for a Supply and Logistics Analyst, who will be responsible for the integral management of product supply, from demand planning and inventory levels to the management of local purchases, imports, reception, costing, and documentation for accounting registration. We are looking for an analytical, organized person with a high sense of follow-up, capable of anticipating stockouts and ensuring the timely availability of products in our branches.
MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
Plan and manage product supply, ensuring adequate inventory levels per branch, avoiding stockouts, and controlling the complete cycle of purchases and imports, seeking to optimize availability, inventory, and logistics costs.
MAIN FUNCTIONS
Demand planning and supply
- Analyze historical and projected demand by SKU and branch.
- Prepare and update demand projections.
- Plan replenishment needs.
- Determine required purchase quantities and dates.
- Analyze inventory coverage and stock levels.
- Timely identify stock-out risks and propose corrective actions.
- Analyze low-turnover products and stagnant inventories, proposing redistribution or reduction alternatives.
- Coordinate transfers and redistribution of inventories between branches when appropriate.
- Prepare reports on coverage, turnover, stockouts, and inventory.
Local purchase management
- Manage the local purchase process according to supply needs.
- Request and analyze supplier quotations.
- Generate and manage Purchase Orders.
- Follow up on purchase orders until their reception.
- Coordinate delivery dates and conditions with suppliers.
- Plan and coordinate receptions with warehouses/branches.
- Identify and manage supplier delays or deviations.
- Follow up on invoices related to purchases.
- Coordinate with Accounting the documentation necessary for invoice registration.
- Ensure that documentation is available for payment scheduling.
Import management
- Manage and perform integral follow-up of imports, from the Purchase Order to the availability of the product in inventory.
- Coordinate with international suppliers.
- Coordinate and negotiate operating conditions with freight forwarders and customs agents.
- Track shipments, ETD, ETA, arrival, and nationalization.
- Coordinate the services required for the import process.
- Review and control import documentation.
- Timely identify delays, setbacks, and extra costs.
- Follow up on the merchandise nationalization process.
- Coordinate the entry of merchandise into the warehouse.
Import liquidation and costing
- Prepare and review the liquidation of each import.
- Consolidate costs associated with the import: product, freight, insurance, customs expenses, storage, transport, and other related costs.
- Determine the total cost of the import for its incorporation into inventory.
- Prepare the file or documentary dossier for each import.
- Deliver complete dossiers to Accounting for registration.
- Follow up on observations or pending documents.
Management of receptions, inventories, and logistics costs
- Coordinate and follow up on the reception of products.
- Verify the correspondence between Purchase Order, reception, and invoice.
- Manage differences or incidents detected during reception.
- Coordinate the correct costing of purchases and imports.
- Manage the assignment of transport costs to inventory movement documents.
- Ensure that logistics costs associated with distribution are correctly incorporated into the inventory cost of each branch.
- Coordinate necessary regularizations with warehouses, Accounting, and Finance.

- Minimum education: University
- 5 years of experience
- Languages: English
- Age: between 30 and 40 years
- Knowledge: Supply Chain, International Purchases, Distribution, Warehouse Management
- Availability to travel: Yes
