The GEBHARDT Intralogistics Group is one of the leading providers of material flow and internal logistics systems. For over 70 years, GEBHARDT has been developing tailor-made complete solutions – from the idea to full realization – in the areas of transport, material flow, sorting technology, assembly and warehouse technology, including control & automation, warehouse management systems, and IT integration.

We are looking for you as a Project Manager (m/w/d) in the area of Strategic Sales at the earliest possible date, who will lead our projects to success with commitment, technical understanding, and structure.

TASKS WAITING FOR YOU:

  • As a Project Manager, you will take over the leadership for the introduction of new system components at one of our largest US Key Accounts.
  • In doing so, you will organize and moderate meetings with internal and external stakeholders, maintain open-points lists, and create clear, structured status reports.
  • Additionally, you will actively participate in the creation and coordination of specifications and ensure that deadlines and costs are tracked transparently.
  • At the same time, you will coordinate the entire technical project processing – from layout to mechanics to electrical and control.
  • You will also keep an eye on technically correct and timely implementation and ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Further tasks

  • With a view to the future, you will prepare new system components for later scaling.
  • On-site, you will support construction site visits, troubleshooting, and acceptances.
  • In daily business, you will work closely with Engineering and Purchasing and report directly to the Head of Strategic Sales – always with clear, binding communication.
  • For workshops and construction site visits, you will also be traveling in the USA for 5–20% of your time.

SKILLS YOU NEED:

  • You have a completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or a comparable field of study.
  • You also bring experience in project management and in the coordination of interdisciplinary teams – ideally from the intralogistics or capital goods sector.
  • With your technical understanding, you will quickly recognize the connections of modular intralogistics systems.
  • You confidently use SAP, MS Office (especially Excel) and, ideally, CAD systems.
  • Through your way of working, you convince with structure, independence, team orientation, and high implementation power.
  • In critical situations, you appear confident, sympathetic, and strong in communication.
  • Very good English skills as well as willingness to travel round off your profile.
