Your tasks at Roche Diagnostics:

• Experimental work / Focus: Verification, validation of systems/laboratory equipment

Preparation:

• Partially independent planning of experimental execution according to specified questions, including the procurement of necessary working materials within specified schedules
• Partially independent coordination with participating working groups
• Drafting of Test Cases

Execution:

• Partially independent execution of experimental tasks within the framework of the further development and new development of systems and system components
• Execution of analyses to determine and assess the interactions between system components, e.g., reagents, software, and hardware

Evaluation/Documentation

• Detailed documentation of experimental setup and execution according to valid guidelines.
• Partially independent evaluation of experimental data and documentation of experimental results according to valid quality standards
• Application of statistical rules and procedures for the preparation of results
• Preliminary interpretation and critical assessment of experimental results
• Analysis of errors and development of proposed solutions
• Presentation of own results within the team

General tasks:

• Support for the technical induction and integration of new employees
• Participation in work meetings and team meetings as agreed and passing on relevant information
• Assumption of general tasks in the interest of the department, e.g., reliable equipment care including independent execution of routine tasks (e.g., Maintenance, release of testing equipment)
• Continuous acquisition of know-how, e.g., through participation in further training
• Compliance with safety regulations and professional disposal of resulting biological and chemical waste.

What you should bring as a Laboratory Technician m/f/d:

• Completed training in a laboratory for chemistry or comparable (Technisch CTA, BTA, MTA) with sound professional experience or additional qualification in the field of chemical technology
• Sound professional experience in laboratory diagnostics, laboratory experience
• Specialist knowledge of diagnostic systems and technologies, focus on verification, validation of systems/laboratory equipment
• English skills (technical literature and communication)
• Sound IT skills
• Ability to work in a team
