Logistics talent wanted! In Wetteren

For an international production company in Wetteren, we are looking for a motivated logistics worker.

Do you have experience with the forklift, do you enjoy working in a logistics environment, and do you love ensuring that goods arrive at the right place at the right time? Then this could be your next challenge!

What will you do?

As a logistics worker, you play an important role in the daily flow of goods. You ensure that incoming goods are correctly received and stored and that production always has the necessary materials on time.

Your package of tasks includes:

• receiving and unloading incoming goods, raw materials, and auxiliary materials;
• checking and storing received goods in the correct location;
• timely supplying production with the necessary raw and auxiliary materials;
• processing and internally moving finished products;
• preparing goods for shipment;
• loading trailers with outgoing goods;
• receiving, storing, and managing labels;
• preparing labels in a timely manner for use within production;
• checking whether the physical stock matches the stock in the system;
• assisting with periodic stock counts;
• performing grinding activities for the correct and efficient processing of production waste;
• ensuring order and cleanliness on the work floor.

During your activities, you always take into account the applicable safety, quality, and environmental rules.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who enjoys practical and logistical work and takes responsibility for his or her work.

In addition:

• you have experience within a logistics environment;
• you possess a valid forklift certificate and can work smoothly with a forklift;
• you have a basic knowledge of computers;
• you possess a basic knowledge of English;
• you enjoy working together with colleagues and communicate smoothly;
• you can also perform your tasks independently;
• you are eager to learn, motivated, and take initiative;
• you work accurately and have attention to safety and quality;
• you are willing to work primarily in day shift;
• you are flexible to potentially work in an early or late shift in case of replacements.
