Packaging Supervisor – 2-shift (Meulebeke Region)

Job Description

For a production company in the Meulebeke region, we are looking for a supervisor for the packaging department. In this role, you are responsible for a smooth, efficient, and quality-oriented flow of the entire packaging process. You combine organization, follow-up, and team coordination.

Your tasks:

• Starting, monitoring, and adjusting the packaging process.
• Ensuring correct compliance with quality and hygiene regulations.
• Directing, guiding, and supporting the team within the packaging department.
• Identifying and solving operational problems and contributing to optimizations.
• Reporting to the production manager regarding progress and any bottlenecks.
• Checking packaging orders and supporting communication between production planning and the storage of finished products.
• Further rolling out and implementing the MES and ERP system on the packaging floor.

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Has experience in a production environment (experience in the food sector is a plus).
• Is motivated, flexible, and has a hands-on mentality.
• Combines technical insight with leadership skills.
• Speaks and understands fluent English.
• Is willing to work in a 2-shift system.
• Possesses good computer skills
