Multimodal Transport Specialist (Import)

Due to the expansion of the cargo import geography (China, India, Brazil), the creation of our own shipping line and, accordingly, the expansion of the department dealing with this type of freight transportation, we are looking for ambitious, diligent, active, and promising employees for our team!

Responsibilities:

• Organization of import transportation (sea, road, rail) as a full cycle or a specific part of the transportation;
• Interaction with related company departments to organize transportation (tramp, road, sales department);
• Placing bookings both independently and through agents;
• Receiving documents from lines and from clients;
• Monitoring invoice payments by clients;
• Working with the ports of Novorossiysk, Vladivostok, and Saint Petersburg.

Requirements:

• Experience in placing bookings and interacting with agents;
• Skills in organizing the process of obtaining permits for road transportation, coordinating schemes and sketches for rail transportation;
• Experience in preparing documents for the forwarder in the port and the broker, coordinating their interaction;
• Experience in organizing cargo removal from the port of St. Petersburg and monitoring removal (cleared cargo, customs transit);
• Experience working with invoices from contractors;
• Attention to detail and small matters;
• Prompt resolution of arising issues;
• English language level no lower than B1;
• Experience working with China, India, and the Far East.
