Planning and conducting English language lessons. Systematic analysis of lesson effectiveness and teaching approaches. Organization, monitoring, and assessment of academic achievements, as well as current and final results of students' mastery of the core English language educational program. Maintaining documentation: compiling and maintaining journals, preparing student progress reports, participating in pedagogical meetings. Monitoring the availability of students' workbooks and test notebooks, ensuring compliance with the school's established rules for their formatting and maintenance, and adherence to the unified spelling regime. Preparation and use of didactic materials, visual aids, and handouts in teaching. Organization, together with colleagues, of the school stage of the English language Olympiad, and the formation of school teams to participate in subsequent stages of the Olympiads. Organization of student participation in linguistic competitions, extracurricular subject activities, English language weeks, and defenses of research papers and projects.
Requirements
Communicative competence: the ability to effectively convey knowledge and create conditions for active communication among students. Use of modern technologies: the ability to integrate digital resources and online platforms into the learning process and use interactive teaching methods. Individual approach: the ability to adapt lessons depending on the students' level of knowledge and interests, and to develop differentiated assignments. Cross-cultural competence: understanding the cultural characteristics of the countries of the language being studied, which allows the teacher not only to teach the language but also to introduce traditions, customs, and mentality.
