Lead Design Engineer of the Installation Department

Design of process pipelines for hazardous production facilities in the chemical, petrochemical, oil, oil refining, and gas processing industries. Development of pre-project, project, and working documentation for the installation part of the project (marks TX, TK, TM, TI). Equipment layout, piping of equipment with any degree of complexity and responsibility. Development of design assignments for related departments (builders, technologists, KIPiA, electricians, ventilation, etc.). Performing verification calculations of pipelines for strength. Performing thermal insulation calculations for pipelines. Review of technical proposals and supplier catalogs, issuing comments, and coordinating data from equipment and material suppliers (from the equipment group or the Customer). Carrying out author's supervision at construction sites. Controlling the work of group members, assisting employees with lower qualifications. Compliance with occupational health, industrial, and fire safety requirements, as well as internal labor regulations.

Requirements

Higher technical education (engineering). At least 6 (six) years of experience in a design organization. Experience in designing process pipelines at oil refining or gas processing facilities (mandatory). Knowledge of methods for performing technical calculations during design. Knowledge of standards, technical specifications, and other regulatory documents for the development and formatting of project documentation (GOST, SNiP, SP, corporate standards). Knowledge of the software package (mandatory): AutoCAD; SmartPlant 3D (or AVEVA PDMS/E3D); Start-Prof (or START); CAESAR II (pipeline calculations); Izolyatsiya (NTP "Truboprovod"). Proficiency in English at a technical level (reading documentation, correspondence). Professional skills: development of documentation for marks TX, TK, TM, TI; equipment piping; equipment layout; verification calculations of pipelines for strength; thermal insulation calculation; author's supervision; group leadership / mentoring; business correspondence and business communication; working with regulatory documentation.
