Logistics Manager

Support of the full cycle of international transportation, from agreeing on contract terms with the fleet to delivering goods to the consignee. Conducting negotiations, executing deals, and signing contracts; monitoring the execution of signed contracts. Development and integration of the fleet: analysis and evaluation of market offers, negotiation and achievement of preferential tariffs and best cooperation terms with fleets in Russia and countries located along routes in Central Asia; searching for and selecting suitable types of vehicles in accordance with business route requirements; forming a hierarchical pool of fleet resources. Daily tracking of schedules and planning of transportation in joint fleets: tracking the full process of cargo transportation, coordinating and resolving transport emergencies, such as port delays, customs clearance anomalies, and cargo damage claims, to guarantee timely transportation and cargo safety. Maintaining records of transport costs and dynamic control, optimizing routes and vehicle placement plans to reduce the number of empty vehicle runs and overall operating costs; regular monitoring of fleet performance data and preparing reports with recommendations on fleet resource utilization and cost optimization. Risk assessment and management: assessing the reliability and business reputation of potential partners, verifying their possession of mandatory permits, certificates, and insurance; collecting all necessary documents and ensuring their compliance with the requirements of Russian legislation and international law. Conducting quarterly assessments of fleet performance quality and potential.

Requirements

Higher education, preferably in specialties in the field of logistics management, transport, international trade, and other related fields. At least 3 years of experience in the field of international road transportation / international land logistics, practical experience in fleet management and negotiating business cooperation. Understanding the specifics of the international logistics market, knowledge of the features of China-Russia and China-Central Asia land routes. Excellent business negotiation and resource integration skills, ability to independently carry out the full cycle of work regarding searching, negotiating, and signing contracts with fleets. Experience interacting with fleets performing transportation under the TIR scheme, knowledge of the full cycle of TIR documentation and customs clearance. Possession of qualification certificates in road transportation, experience communicating in international companies. Implemented projects of direct attraction of fleet-partners, ability to provide confirmation of previous work results. High stress resistance, ability to adapt to the work rhythm and handle emergency situations. Attention to detail. Readiness for business trips within the Russian Federation and an irregular working day. English language proficiency no lower than Intermediate level. Knowledge of Chinese is desirable. Knowledge of the principles of calculating transportation costs and optimizing dispatching, data analysis skills, and a cost-control oriented mindset. Having your own contacts of high-quality fleets in Russia / Central Asian countries and the ability to quickly launch cooperation will be an advantage.
