For one of our internationally active customers in Landau in der Pfalz or in the Düsseldorf area, we are looking for a Process Engineer (m/f/d) for the field of process plants (distillation and rectification plants).

The Tasks:

• Your area of responsibility includes the planning, development, and implementation of solutions for process plants (distillation and rectification plants), especially for plants for the production of bioethanol and ethanol as well as for applications for solvent recovery.
• You will create technical solutions in cooperation with the relevant specialist departments and customers and accompany the constructive implementation.
• You will simulate processes and be responsible for the upscaling of experimental results into industrial applications.
• You will also plan and evaluate the associated process equipment and systems, including pumps, heat exchangers, columns, and separation plants.

The Ideal Profile:

• You have successfully completed a degree in the field of Process Engineering or have a comparable qualification.
• Experience in the areas of thermal process and separation technology, and the simulation of thermal separation processes are an advantage. Experience in the design of distillation processes and in the field of solvent recovery is also welcome.
• You are enthusiastic and solution-oriented and enjoy working on the implementation of technically demanding customer requirements.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, a willingness to undertake occasional business trips, and good English skills round off your profile.
