For one of our internationally active customers in Köln, we are looking for a Designer/Developer (m/f/d) for turbomachinery:

The Tasks:

• You are responsible for the development, design, and detailing of turbomachinery and its main components for the application areas of power generation, process industry, and climate technology.
• Your area of responsibility includes the development of concepts as well as the creation of design drafts for compressor and expander stages or their main components.
• Additionally, you perform calculations and analyses of assemblies and components.
• You create the technical specifications for the main components and evaluate supplier offers from a technical perspective.
• You support the implementation of design reviews and risk analyses.
• In this role, you work very closely with the internal specialist departments (Purchasing, Production, Project Management, Sales, and Testing).

The Ideal Profile:

• You have a successfully completed engineering degree in the field of Maschinenbau, preferably with a focus on design technology.
• Professional experience in a comparable activity in design, development, and/or project management is an advantage.
• Good knowledge in using a common CAD Tool, good knowledge of turbo compressors and turbo expanders as well as their components are required.
• Very good communication and teamwork skills, good English skills, as well as the willingness to undertake occasional business trips round off your profile.
