Our opportunity:

As part of our development, we are currently looking for an experienced Lawyer in Business Law / Corporate M&A (M/F) with at least 5/6 years of experience within our Strasbourg office.

Your main responsibilities:

You will work with various clients (international groups, mid-caps, SMEs, listed companies, high-growth companies, family businesses) present in all sectors of the economy.

You will participate primarily in acquisition and disposal operations by intervening in all associated issues (from the letter of intent to post-closing integration) in domestic and international contexts.

You will also provide support regarding transformations, restructuring of corporate groups, as well as their day-to-day management and within the framework of exceptional operations (capital increases, fundraising, mergers...).

You are able to manage and coordinate the main aspects of these projects and operations (assistance in structuring and defining the negotiation strategy of the operation, management and monitoring of the operation process, negotiation and drafting of deeds, coordination of EY teams and client teams), under the supervision of a partner.

You will work on these matters in close liaison with our Tax Law and Labor Law teams and, depending on the operations, teams from other EY service lines (e.g. Lead M&A, Corporate Finance, Consulting).

You will also be required to supervise and train junior members of the team.

Your skills to succeed:

In order to integrate into our teams and evolve successfully within them, you possess the following key skills: Holder of the CAPA, you have a Master 2 degree in Business Law / Corporate Law or DJCE, and ideally complementary training from a business school/LL.M; Previous experience of at least 5/6 years within the "Business Law/Corporate/M&A" department of a Law Firm and/or the Legal Department of a company, which has allowed you to develop a very good knowledge of the processes governing this type of operations and good technical mastery in their legal structuring and negotiation; Perfect mastery of English, both spoken and written - professional experience abroad would be an asset.
